Wishing you all a sweet New Year!
It is wonderful welcoming back so many familiar faces and so many new faces as well. This year Maya and I are teaming together in Ivrit Alef to open up the magical world of reading Hebrew. It is so much easier than people think. We teach the sounds of the letters and vowels. Working together we show how easy it is for the letters to turns into sounds; sounds turn into words; words to give meaning.
After next week please ask your child if they are learning with either of us during Hebrew, and to practice reading 7 minutes a day- 3 times a week. That is all you need to keep up: Frequency, not length of practice.
We wish you all a Shana Tova V'Metooka!
