We spoke on the importance of Hebrew in our pride of being Jewish; Hebrew as the connection to prayer and our homeland and Hebrew with its rules like any other language. Modern Israel was built on teaching Hebrew to its waves of new immigrants.

Grade 4 Practice is on pages 81/82 with the new vowel "O" (sound) and its unique rules when the vav part disappears it leaves the "nikud" (dot) and the vowel sound remains.
Grade 5 Starting on pages 97 and 98 we are practicing the letter PEY
Grade 3 Students need to tighten up on at home practice. The students have had a tough time as we move through the letters and have said that at home practice was not occurring so we started at the beginning and moved right through to page 8. Students are working on Mastering the SHIN, TAV and BET. Please make 10 minutes of dedicated practice three times a week.
Grade 7 Practice is the FINAL NUN AND NUN found on pages 66 and 67.

5th Grade-Practice is on 92/93 s we have learned the new vowel that sounds like : "Eh". It has three or 5 'nekudot' or dots but make the same sound.
3rd Grade- Practicing the letter HAY on pages 20/21. Remember if there is no vowel it becomes silent.
7th Grade- Forging forward with the silent AYIN on pages 56/57. Don't confuse it with the letter "Y".
4th Grade- Continuing practice on pages 81/82 with the vowel "OH" which is really a VAV with a 'Nikud' or dot over it.
