5th Grade had a great class on Sunday. In Hebrew class, we reviewed the Aleph Bet, learned some new vocab words, and went over vowels. The students also got to make short dialogues with partners to reinforce our new words.
After coming back from music class, we delved into the Hebrew calendar. Specifically, we focused on Rosh Hashanah as it is coming up very soon. Students brainstormed what sorts of things could be associated with the Jewish New Year. We wrapped the class up with a fun game of hangman (using the new vocab words).
A quick reminder: students are certainly allowed to bring snacks with them and ample time will be given to them to eat, but any food with, or with traces of tree nuts or peanuts is strictly not allowed. We wash our hands every time after we eat, but we have several students and teachers with severe allergies whom we want to keep safe.
Thank you and see everyone next Sunday!
