As always, your children shared their vibrant personalities in Sunday School today.
We learned the prayer "Modeh Ani" which is often recited upon awakening the the morning. Modeh Ani thanks G-d for giving our souls another day, a new day filled with possibilities.
Our Hebrew focus today was on the letters Pay, Fay, and Fay Sofit. Pay makes a "p" sound and our key words were Purim, Pesach and Peh, which means mouth. Please review pages 68 through 71 with your child.
We read the book "Bagels from Bennie" - a wonderful tale about a child who wants to thank G-d. His idea is to place a bag of bagels in the Aron Kodesh, the synagogue's holy ark, each week. Your child made a story prop and can retell the story.
Next week there is no Sunday school due to vacation. We'll see you on the following Sunday.
Be well and happy, Love, Mindy
