Holiday Celebrations

The Sunday School celebrates Jewish holidays with traditional food and fun. We build a sukkah at Sukkot, gather with dreidels, latkes, and jelly doughnuts at Hanukkah, celebrate Purim with songs, hamentashen, and a carnival, and hold a Model Seder at Passover. We welcome parents at all holiday events.

High Holiday Services, Fall 2008

We are pleased to announce that services will be led by Rabbi Lev Ba’esh & Song Leader Sue Horowitz. Rabbi Ba’esh is the Director of The Resource Center for Jewish Clergy of InterfaithFamily.com. Sue Horowitz is a Jewish singer/song writer and performer.

The Sunday School for Jewish Studies is an independent religious school holding classes at Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill. Each year, the School conducts High Holy Day services to which everyone in the community is invited. Although the services are open and there are no tickets or reservations needed, we ask for a suggested minimum donation of $200 for guests and community members and $100 for current Sunday School students and their families. Your generosity enables us to continue this long-standing tradition.

Please call 617-264-8855 if you have any questions.
