3rd grade: We began this week by introducing ourselves and playing a get to know you game. Students then got cracking on their new hebrew books! Each week, students will add pages to their aleph bet hebrew books. I encourage you to ask your children about their thoughts on creating their own book and any challenges they foresee. We will discuss obstacles in our next lesson and how they tie into Judaism. There will be no homework this week.
4th grade: Students began this week by brainstorming and creating goal sheets. These goals will support students' self-regulation and constructive participation in class. After discussing goals and their use in bettering ourselves, students began working on their aleph bet hebrew book. I encourage you to ask your children about their goal sheets and how they think it will help them become better students and citizens.
