While most of our students elect to have a bar or bat mitzvah, the Sunday School views the ceremony as an optional experience in which the child and his/her family choose to participate. Bar and bat mitzvah tutoring is not part of the regular curriculum and is not included in the tuition fee. However, the school will assist families in making individual arrangements with qualified educators for tutoring.  The Sunday School does not own a building, giving families the flexibility to choose where to hold their child's Bar/Bat Mitzvah service and celebration.
