The Sunday School is a unique one-day-per-week program that holds classes on Sundays during the school year.  We offer a Jewish education that is innovative in its approach to the growing diversity in Jewish family structures and beliefs. Our families come from various backgrounds: traditional, inter-faith, multi-racial and single gender and The Sunday school is a comfortable place for all.

Our Education Director provides the vision for the school through curriculum design, staffing and development of school-wide programs throughout the year.   The director also works with parents to ensure that the needs of the individual students are being met.

Our Administrative Assistant supports our Education Director and works with our Parent Board on various projects.  She is the school registrar, clerk and scribe.

Our teachers are experienced Jewish educators.  The instruction is age-appropriate and engaging.  On any Sunday morning, our first graders enjoy a morning of singing and simple instruction while our seventh graders discuss Jewish ethics over bagels and cream cheese.

The Board of Directors set policy and report to the entire parent body.  The Board includes officers, committee chairs and representatives from our school community.  Working with the Education Director, the Board coordinates with parent volunteers in running school-wide events and celebrations.

The Sunday School sponsors High Holiday services for our families and the extended community.  Tickets are not required though donations are gratefully appreciated.

The Sunday School is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Massachusetts corporation.
